Do I need a reservation? Tables are first come, first serve for parties of six and under. Please check in with our hostess for all seating options. For larger parties, see below.
Do I need reservations for my large group? Parties over 6 guests require a reservation. Please note, we have a limited number of large group tables available to be reserved. When looking to book, if a date or time is not available it means we are booked at that time. We are not able to accommodate your group as a walk-in. Reservations can be made here.
Are you dog friendly? We allow dogs outside, during regular business hours! All dogs must be both dog and people friendly. All dogs must be on their leash at all times and at no time do we allow dogs on furniture. Pets are not permitted on our tours, tasting, main patio, upstairs deck, or during special events. We have designated areas that dogs are permitted.
Do you have live music? We have live music on Fridays from 5pm-8pm (21+), Saturdays and Sundays during the summer season. Please see our events calendar for our music line-up or visit our Facebook page!
I am looking to host a private event at the winery, who do I contact for more information? Feel free to email manager@capemaywinery.com to inquire about private events. We are currently hosting intimate rehearsal dinners, wine pairing dinners and small gatherings. Please contact washingtoninncatering@gmail.com for information regarding a vineyard wedding at our Isaac Smith Estate in West Cape May.
Can I keep my wine glass? Souvenir glasses are only included with our educational wine tastings. Stemmed and stemless logo glasses may be purchased in our gift shop!
Can I smoke at the winery? We are a smoke-free facility - this includes cigars, marijuana and e-cigarettes/vape pens.
Can I bring in outside food? We can not allow any outside food. We have an in-house tapas kitchen that serves a variety of made to order delicious offerings.
Can I bring in outside beverages? In accordance with the NJ Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, we cannot allow any outside beverages. Sodas and water are available for purchase.
Can I bring my child to the winery? The winery experience is most appropriate for adults, but if you are bringing children please note that they must have adult supervision at all times and are welcome at our outdoor tables. Children are not permitted at the tastings, on tours or at our indoor tables. We ask that children and adults refrain from walking/running through the vineyard. The only time we are completly 21+ is during our Friday evening extended hours from 5pm-8pm.
Do you sell gift cards? Our gift cards make a great gift for all occasions! Any denomination is available. We offer digital and physical gift cards that can be purchased in-person during our operating hours or by calling our front desk at 609.884.1169. Gift cards can be used to purchase wine tastings, tours and merchandise/snacks in our gift shop, but are not applicable for use at our in-house tapas kitchen.
Do you ship wine? We are able to ship to NJ, PA or FL only. Please call our front desk at 609-884-1169 to place an order and our staff will provide you with shipping rates, which are in addition to the cost of your wine purchase. An adult signature is required at delivery.
Where can I purchase CM Winery wines? Our website provides you with our local wine outlets as well as local B.Y.O.B. restaurants that offer a selection of our wines for purchase while dining with them, click here for the list of current locations. The Cape May Winery is the only location that carries the full wine selection. We are not available in liquor stores at this time.
Do you have a Wine Club? Yes, it is called the Case Club. Membership includes special discounts and invitations to members-only wine release events! For details on our Case Club, please click here.

One member of our group is not drinking wine - will there be a charge for a tour or tasting? NJ State Laws requires everyone to be 21 years or older to participate in tasting wines.
Tastings: Anyone who is under 21 years of age or is 21 years of age or older but does not want to participate in the wine tasting will not be charged.
Tours: We require all tour participants to be at least 16 years of age. Those who are not drinking during a tour will be charged a reduced rate.
Do you have parking? Yes, we have ample free parking. If arriving via limo or bus, please have your driver park in the back lot by the barns or in the satellite lot ¼ mile from the winery after dropping off your group.
How can we book tickets for tours/grill night/pop up dinners? You can book these events online via our website. There is a ‘Book a Wine Experience’ button on the homepage of our site. You will be charged at the time of booking.
