It's official- our vines are awake and the 2019 growing cycle is underway!
Bud break, also know as bud burst, is the official start to growing season. Almost overnight, the vines transform from bare, brown branches into a sea of tiny green grape leaves. The springtime sun allows for the vines to begin photosynthesis immediately. The leaves will grow exponentially over the next couple of weeks, sometimes up to 1 inch per day!
