Tables are first come, first serve for parties of seven and under. Please check-in with our hostess for all seating options. For larger parties over eight guests does require a reservation. Please note, we have a limited number of large group tables available to be reserved. When looking to book, if a date or time is not available it means we are booked at that time. Well-behaved and friendly dogs are allowed outside, during regular business hours and weather permitting! We have designated areas where dogs are permitted, please see the front desk or host upon your arrival for seating. All dogs must be both dog and people friendly, must be on their leash at all times and at no time do we allow dogs on furniture. Pets are not permitted on our tours, tasting, main patio, upstairs deck, or during special events.

We can not allow any outside food. We have an in-house tapas kitchen that serves a variety of made to order delicious offerings. 

In accordance with the NJ Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, we cannot allow any outside beverages. Sodas, seasonal mocktail and water are available for purchase.

Is there a difference between Tap Wine & Bottled Wine? 
The short answer is no! The wine we use to bottle is the same wine we use to fill the kegs. You may think the wine tastes different off the tap compared to the bottle and there are a couple factors that might cause this difference. Wine on tap is intended to "drink now" and not be left to age. The wine on tap is slightly aerated, which may cause it to be more aromatic. There is no risk of bottle-shock. The wine is kept in a controlled environment so every pour is the same temperature.

How does the system function? 
We use 100% Nitrogen gas tank that is attached to the system to push the wine out of the kegs. The pressure from the gas tank is regulated by the tap system to ensure a steady flow of wine when the tap is opened. The pressurized gas essentially pushes the wine out of the keg and into your glass. The tap system has 8 taps and 2 temperature controlled coolers. One cooler is kept at 46 degrees for the white wines and 58 degrees for the red wines. Carbon dioxide acts as an aerator when released from our taps which can add what looks to be small bubbles in a wine glass. Those bubbles will clear in a matter of seconds, revealing the wine's true clarity.

How long does the wine last in the growler? 
5-7 days in the growler. Once opened, it will last the same amount of time as a regular bottle of wine.

Why did we decide to put our 'wine on tap'? 
First, it allows us to offer a new experience for our guests with a self-guided flight. Secondly, it is much more efficient for a tasting room in terms of cost, waste and time. It allows us to cut down on the number of bottles, labels, and corks thrown away after emptying a bottle. The kegs are cleaned, sanitized and refilled making the Tap Room an environmentally conscious tasting room. And lastly, it provides our winemaker with an avenue to experiment with small batch wines. 

Are all of your wines available on tap? 
No. We feature a rotating selection of our wines, which sometimes include "Tap Only" wines that are not available by the bottle. 

We welcome all ages here, unless noted differently due to an event. Please note, Friday evenings from 5-8pm we are 21+ as well as our pop-up dinners and Grill Nights. 

Children must be attended by an adult at all times, please keep them close to you and once you have your table assigned, seated with you at all times. Our vineyard is a space for adults to unwind, and your cooperation helps everyone enjoy their visit. Please use headphones for all electronics. Reminder, no outside food is allowed - snacks are available for purchase in our retail store and tapas kitchen. Thank you! 

Smoking and vaping of niccotine and/or marijuana is strictly prohibited on vineyard property. No exceptions. 

We are constantly tending to our crop to ensure that we produce the best quality wine for you to enjoy! Because of this, we ask that you refrain from walking through the vines and leave the grape picking to the professionals.

New Members:

To become a Case Club member, you must purchase two full cases (24 bottles) within a single calendar year (January 1 – December 31). Once qualified, you will receive Case Club benefits and invitations to exclusive Member Tastings.

• First case purchase: 10% discount

• Second case purchase: 15% discount

• If both cases are purchased together: 15% off both cases

• A case = 12 bottles (mixed varietals allowed, must be purchased in one transaction).

Existing Members:

• If you purchased at least 1 full case last year, you remain an active member and qualify for a 15% discount on all full case purchases.

• If you did not purchase at least 1 full case last year, your membership becomes inactive. To reactivate, follow the “New Members” qualification process.

To maintain active status, you must purchase at least one full case each calendar year. If inactive, you must re-qualify as a new member.

The cost for custom labeled wine is our retail price per bottle plus a $2.00 fee per bottle. There is a one time set up fee of $50 for each order of custom labels.

The minimum order is six bottles and you may mix available varietals.

Please email manager@capemaywinery.com to inquire about which varietals are avaiable for custom labels. When emailing, please let us know how many bottles you will be looking to order, attach any copy you would like on the bottle and logos. Anything we can use to build out your label will be helpful to get this completed in a timely manner. 

Please allow two weeks for completion of your custom label once approved by the client.

Please note that the labels are not waterproof. Wines chilled in ice water may cause the labels to peel.

NJ sales tax will be added onto the order total.
