The 2023 Estate Red Field Blend is a dynamic and layered expression of our Townbank Vineyard, where coastal influences and site-driven character shape a wine of depth and balance. This blend is composed of 74% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 9% Cabernet Franc, coming together to create a harmonious and complex profile.

On the nose, a fresh berry medley is complemented by earthy undertones and subtle hints of milk chocolate. The palate opens with a vibrant burst of red currant, accented by warming winter spices that add complexity and intrigue. A structured finish reveals gravelly tannins, balanced by pronounced, well-integrated acidity that carries the wine with precision and length. Bottled at 12.8% ABV, this blend offers both approachability and age-worthy structure.

Aged for two years in French oak, the wine develops added depth and texture while maintaining its bright fruit core and natural elegance.

Pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, braised short ribs, or aged cheeses, as well as hearty vegetable dishes like roasted root vegetables or lentil stew.
